Greens of Mepal manufacture high quality sheds, potting sheds and workshops in Mepal, near Ely Cambridgeshire. Our range of garden sheds are Craftsman built in our own workshops and are designed to last a lifetime with minimal maintenance. We make almost any size or design to suit your space and offer a complete bespoke service including delivery, assembly and basework if required.
We use quality redwood pine shiplap boarding 15mm finished size. 50mm x 50mm framework, heavy duty 40kg polyester roofing felt, fixed onto a layer of felt adhesive for extra long lifespan. Solvent based water repellent wood preservative treatment is included as standard. A coat of Sadolin preservative is available as an option for longer lasting protection. Exterior grade 12mm plywood is used for roofs and floors selected for durability and stability. The galvanized or zinc coated fittings and fixings resist rusting. Cladding nails are triple coated for increased durability.
